PITCHING INSTRUCTORS

FRANK SPENCER: Travel Ball coach for ten years. Currently women's open team coach. Taught for three years at the NATIONALLY FAMOUS MIKE SMITH'S ACADEMY in Upland California and five years at BALLS N. STRIKES  in Corona CA before opening this new training facility. Frank has coached at all levels of the sport, from Recreational leagues, to college and has enjoyed success coaching his teams against international competition. And, as the pitcher and catchers coach at Cal Baptist University, took the team to a 7th place finish at the NAIA College World Series 2004. Frank  proudly teaches the Mike Smith style of pitching because it is the perfect blend of SPEED AND MOVEMENT. Colleges across the country pursue pitchers trained in this style of pitching. The cost of lessons are $25.00 Plus $5.00 for the catcher. All lessons are by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance. All students will learn to throw the Drop, Rise, Change, Curve, and Drop Curve, Screw Rise, Off Speed Drop, and Screw Ball. Advanced Pitchers will improve their mechanics where needed, and develop the proper techniques, to allow for consistent pitching performances. 

BUTCH REYES: Currently offering pitching lessons at All American Softball Academy, Butch Reyes has many years of experience. Reyes has recently coached Cal Baptist University for a total of five years. While at CBU he was the assistant coach, as well as the pitching coach. His softball experience is rich, having played both A and B Major Softball for nearly 26 years. His coaching experience is just as affluent. Reyes has coached men and women’s travel teams for the Past 20 years, as well as stints at Aquinas HS (San Bernardino), San Bernardino HS and Santiago HS (Corona). He is still coaching women’s travel teams. Reyes has worked as a pitching and hitting instructor at the Mike Smith Academy in Chino, CA-and also at Balls and Strikes in Corona, CA. Reyes and his wife, Carol, live in Riverside. They have 4 children and 9 grandchildren.

LISA SPENCER: We are excited to have Lisa giving instruction at our facility. She is an accomplished pitcher who has enjoyed success at all levels of the sport from 8U recreational league through college. She has been a All American Honoree as a pitcher. Led her teams to three consecutive 5th place finishes at the ASA National Championships and won a National title and was a key member of the Cal Baptist pitching staff that finished 7th at the NAIA College World Series and has won numerous college conference awards..   

HITTING INSTRUCTORS

JOHN BASHOR: Since 1988 John has been recognized as one of Southern California's best hitting instructors. His travel ball teams have placed in the top ten at the ASA National Tournament nine times. Some of his players have gone on to play for the US, Canadian, and Greek National teams. Many of his past players have gone on to be college All Americans.  John has traveled across the United States as a skills instructor and coach.
